Unsung Heros

My Mom sent me a video...it's about 12 minutes, but one of the best 12 minutes I've spent in front of the computer in a very long time. I can't adequately describe...you MUST watch.

On 9/11/2001, men and women of the NY/NJ waterfront answered a single radio call from the Coast Guard, to evacuate 300 to 500 thousand terrified civilians from Manhattan… In 9 hours.
It was a feat largely unnoticed until Tom Hanks narrated this short, but moving documentary.
